AMESYNTH started as a simple idea: what if an AI consulting practice actually used AI in its own operations? Not as a marketing gimmick, but as a genuine operational choice — the same tools and approaches we recommend to clients, running our own business. That idea evolved into something bigger: building the entire platform in public.
The AMESYNTH portal — the system our clients use to track projects, review deliverables, and monitor results — is built on the same stack we deploy for our clients. Supabase for the backend, Next.js for the frontend, AI integrations throughout. When we improve the portal for ourselves, those improvements inform what we build for clients. When we hit a limitation, we solve it once and apply the solution everywhere. It's a forcing function for quality.
Building in public means we share our decisions, our architecture choices, and our mistakes. When we chose to unify the marketing site and the client portal into a single Next.js application, we documented why — reduced maintenance overhead, shared component library, consistent brand experience from first visit to active client. When we hit performance issues with server components and Supabase auth, we wrote about the solution. This transparency isn't just content marketing. It's accountability.

We'd rather compete on the quality of our work, visible for anyone to evaluate, than on the persuasiveness of our pitch. If building in public costs us some competitive advantage, so be it. We think it gains us something more valuable: trust.
